HOST WISE is a game-changing property management company in Portugal, driven by a passion for revolutionising the vacation rental and real estate investment sectors. We connect property owners, real estate investors, tourists, and digital nomads from all corners of the world.

Lightning-fast Growth StartUp, we closed 2024 with promising numbers: Managing over 500 properties (apartments, houses and hostels) 10M€ annual revenue, 50 talented people and successfully spinning off Invest Wise and Travel Wise.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced, analytic and dynamic individual to join our team to lead the Revenue Management team for Host Wise. In this position you will be responsible for managing and executing Host Wise's pricing strategy and continuously analyzing short, medium and long-term results. You will work directly with the CRO and CEO of Host Wise to ensure that results and objectives are met in terms of revenue.

You will be able to innovate, automate and use analytic dashboards and data mining to implement and improve pricing and sales processes, which will optimize the business net revenue and margins.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage a small team of Revenue Managers

  • Definition and implementation of the pricing strategy of more than 500 real estate assets in the short, medium and long term;

  • Accurate preparation and distribution of daily, weekly and monthly revenue reports by cluster;

  • Analysis of implemented pricing tests and their results;

  • Carrying out 365-day pricing strategy planning based on forecast;

  • Continuous review of rates, discounts and reviews to ensure revenue maximization;

  • Data analysis from industry trends, data collection from softwares used (Airdna, PriceLabs) in order to identify patterns;

  • Market research and analysis to support strategic business decisions;

  • Identify, test and implement new tools, technology or methods which contribute to the company's growth.

Job requirements

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 5+ Experience in implementing pricing strategy or pricing yield optimization;

  • Skilled with Excel, databases and macros;

  • Analytical ability to conduct in-depth data analysis and ability to improve data architecture;

  • Self-motivated person who drives the department forward and loves to give that extra mile;

  • Good communication skills (oral and written) - fluent in English;

  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to deal with constantly changing environment;

  • Passion for data analysis, technology and the tourism market.

PREFERRED SKILLS (Plus):

  • Experience using revenue management & property management software (PriceLabs & Hostify is a plus);

  • Experience in creating automatic reports for continuous analysis of results.
